St Elmo’s first store opened in 1987 and Pizzaways have since opened all over the country, providing food lovers with authentic woodfired pizzas of outstanding quality and superb service.
This, together with St Elmo’s free delivery service and our resolute insistence on using only the freshest, prime ingredients in all our products makes for the successful recipe of the growing brand.
St Elmo’s constantly works to achieve complete customer satisfaction and improve its offering by subjecting its operations to independent quality controls. The South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) accredited St Elmo’s Manufacturing & Distribution Centre with a SANS 10330:2009 status – the first food franchise in the Western Cape to achieve this.
In November 2010, St Elmo’s was bought by the Taste Holdings group and have since opened 2 new stores, with another 4 stores confirmed to open in 2011.
St Elmo’s launched a new logo in April 2011 and is in the process of revamping stores and launching new look stores from September 2011 onwards.
